We're reporting live from Karlsruhe, where the latest preparations for the biggest competition of OGame's history are taking place. Construction of our game venue has just finished on time. Now an exciting tournament awaits our participants from all over the world, with perfect conditions for high-performance emperors:

2 Weeks runtime!*
7 times speed!
70% of ship losses go into the debris field!
Championship server in Germany, France, Great Britain, Spain and Poland!**

All's fair in love and war and so the updated noob protection rules apply.

This time it's not the taking part that counts!

We're looking for the world champion in the total points and honour points disciplines. The players with the most points*** can look forward to receiving the following prizes:

Total highscore position 1-10: iPad, gaming keyboard and vouchers!
Honour point highscore position 1-3: Vouchers, coupons and t-shirts!

Additionally all participants will have the chance to win more vouchers, coupons and fan merchandise.You can find out info about all the prizes and details about the entry conditions in the forum.
On your marks, get set...

Don't panic, you've still got a bit of time to get prepared. The tournament is starting on the 27.12.2011 at 3 pm (GMT+1) and finishes on the 11.01.2012 at 3 pm (GMT+1).

* The general OGame rules apply. Above all, multi accounting & account sharing are prohibited and lead to disqualification from the competition. Remaining Dark Matter cannot be transferred onto other game rounds at the end of the runtime.
** For players who are not being offered a tournament in their country/language, we recommend the English language tournament round.
*** Players can only win in one discipline and on one server and can thus only win one prize. Players that get a prize position in two disciplines or servers will only receive the most valuable prize.
